Hurricane Mitch 1998

-  Three weeks after being rolled down the hill side with debris of his village, this small boy shows the battle scares of the event.  He was one of the fortunate ones.

- Mud flowed like lava from a volcano.

-   Happy to be alive, even with a broken leg.

- "A tree hit me and broke my knee." explains a survivor.

-  "I lost my 10 month old baby girl, she, was ripped from my arms as we tumbled down the field. I also lost my 2 year old and my husband, now I am all alone" explains one survivor being ministered to by crew member Wilson Flavius.

-  Hundreds of bodies leaving impressions in mud are burned without being recognized.  All dogs in the area are shot by the Army to prevent the spread of disease.
